Youth Run Program

Each summer we conduct a Youth Run program for kids aged 8-12. Runs are on Thursdays at 6:15pm and Saturdays at 8am. The program includes two track meets and a 5k capstone at the end. The 2022 season has commenced and registration has closed. Registration will re-open for 2023 on 4/1.

 If you like to run in the company of others, Xtra Mile is your destination! Get connected with local runners from Fast Track and Busse Woods Running Club. Come to the store on a Monday for a 6:15 p.m. fun run - all paces welcome.

Friday Night Flights (Year-round Fun!)

From Mid-March through Mid-October, we are on the Harper Track for Wednesday night runs which are designed by the local club, Fast Track. This is a structured workout involving varying intervals and paces on a closed loop. Runners of ALL paces will benefit from these workouts. Check it out!

*October-March: These workouts are run from the XMR store at 6:15 p.m.

The spring 2023 session began on 3/21! New to running, or returning from a sabbatical? Start with our Couch to 5k program! We do a 10-week walk-to-run course each spring and fall that concludes at a local 5K. When in session, runs are held Tuesdays from the store from 6:30-7:15 pm, and Saturday mornings at Volkening Lake from 9-10 am. Register here.
