USAgain: Xtra Mile Running partners with USAgain - a leader in the textile recycling industry. USAgain's mission is to divert textiles from landfills. USAgain's green and white recycling bins provide communities with a convenient way to dispose of surplus clothing and give it a second life. Drop off your retired shoes and clothes at the Mile's bin and enjoy $5 OFF a $20 purchase.
Sneakers 4 Good: Did you know it takes 30-40 years for shoes to decompose? Choose our Sneakers 4 Good bin instead of the landfill for your shoes! Every 100 pairs recycled shoes helps save around 3,000 lbs. of carbon dioxide emissions.
Help Us Keep Garbage Out of Landfills!
In addition to our USAgain and Sneakers 4 Good bins to repurpose shoes and clothes, we have a box by the register where you can recycle performance nutrition packaging. GU Energy Labs partnered with TerraCycle to create a free recycling program, and Xtra Mile Running is now one of its drop-off locations. Instead of throwing out your packaging (energy gel and chew wrappers, waffle wrappers, hydration and drink mix packets), save them and bring them to the store! The packaging will be recycled into new products. ALL brands accepted (not just GU).
