Xtra Mile Running’s policy is to allow customers to exchange merchandise or receive a refund up to 14 days from purchase date. From 15-30 days, we offer store credit. All sales are final after 30 days. The returned merchandise must be in the same condition it was when it left the store. Should you receive a product and deem it defective, contact us with your receipt within 30 days of purchase. If the defect is clear and obvious, we will replace the product for you at no charge.
Your safety is our top priority. We carefully consider all factors before deciding to cancel group runs. While unpredictable weather is part of training, we will cancel workouts under the following conditions to ensure the safety of all participants and staff:
COLD WEATHER
- Actual Temperatures below 0°F
- Real Feel (Wind Chill) Temperatures below -15°F
- Dangerous path conditions, such as heavy ice or snow accumulation, or extremely poor visibility
HEAT/AIR QUALITY
- Heat index above 95°F (Danger or Extreme Danger zone per NWS Heat Index)
- Air Quality Index (AQI) of 151 or higher
SEVERE WEATHER
- Ice storms, hail, high winds, or tornado watches/warnings or poor visibility.
- Lightning during thunderstormsWait at least 30 minutes: Resume outdoor activities only after 30 minutes have passed since the last thunder was heard or lightning was seen. The 30-minute clock restarts with each subsequent thunder or lightning event.
How We Communicate Cancellations
Check our Facebook, Instagram, or call the store at 847-252-9155 one hour before the scheduled run if you're unsure of a run's status.
Xtra Mile Running reserves the right to cancel any workout deemed unsafe for participants.
